Laxmii Budget & Box Office Collection ( Laxmi Bomb)

Laxmii featuring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani had a universally disliked trailer and also opened to bad reviews by critics but released directly on Hotstar and was estimated to be sold to Hotstar for 150 Crores giving a clear profit of 40 Crores to producers before satellite rights and taking into account Akshay Kumar’s share of profits. Do Note that the Producers Fox Star Studios and Disney Plus Hot Star and satellite rights holder Star Gold are related companies so technically all of this would be table profits If Laxmii aka Laxmi Bomb  had released normally on movie screens considering the negativity by critics and the poor trailer it would have struggled badly at the box office Laxmii Budget 65 Crore  is  the estimated  budget of Laxmii without P&A and Akshay Kumar’s salary as no cost was incurred due to digital release. Akshay Kumar has a share of profits so that is an additional cost Production Cost: 65 Crore Prints & Advertising Cost: 0 Crore Laxmii Viewership Laxmii viewership figures are not shared by Hotstar but it is estimated that it has 10 Million paid Subscribers in India and 300 million total subscribers  at least 20% of viewers would watch the movie so at least 2 Million viewers should watch this movie on Disney Plus Hotstar though as per the cost paid  Hotstar would have been hoping to get at least 40% of people to watch this movie. For Hotstar till date Dil bechara has been the biggest success in terms of viewership but that movie was free to watch. Laxmii Screens Laxmii released directly on Hotstar without any release in theaters Laxmii Hit or Flop Laxmii produced by Fox Star Studio and  is a profitable venture as a direct release to Hotstar gave it a direct 85 Crores profit besides the profit from satellite rights. Out of this Profit assuming a 50% share to Akshay Kumar  the producers would make a cool 40 Crore as profit.
